Valentine by name
I have long been a big fan of Shahasp Valentine's beautiful organic forms made using metal, gold, pearls and gem stones. And what better than a Valentine on Valentines?

Fantastic subtle forms and textures, great rhythm and composition and use of gold. Do check them out!

Finding a niche
One of my favourites each year is the Niche Awards, for stunning craftsmanship (sadly US and Canada only!). Everything from jewellery to furniture and textiles, in other words something for everyone! I love this whimiscal model below (I am excessively fond of rabbits, and it is the Chinese Year of the rabbit/ hare coming up too, that's my excuse anyway!). Its by Jim and Tori Mullan, do check out their website: http://mullaniumbyjimandtori.com/ for more amazing work, they do jewellery too!
And a beautiful piece of jewellery metalwork by Sadie Wang http://sadiewang.com/
